Today I decided to take Charley to the zoo. It was a beautiful day and I had been telling her for days we would go and see the elephants. So, today we loaded up and did just that! We are now official "Friends of the Zoo" and can enjoy going there the rest of the year for free. I am so excited because I plan on taking Charley to the zoo at least once or twice a month. She absolutely loved it and we couldn't have picked a better day. ALL of the animals were out in full view and some of them even got up close and personal with us. I would have to say that Charley's favorite animals were the monkey's, giraffes, elephants, and goats. We saw so many more, but she seemed most amused by those. If you have a little one, I would suggest taking them to the zoo sometime soon and giving them the opportunity to enjoy a face to face encounter with the animals.
